SAD(Scratch Activity Detection)

The scratch is similar with noises. But we have another algorithm.
Normally if there is no COR, ROIP don't know that the radio device is locked. For detection whether the radio device is locked, VAD would not be a good way.
If ROIP can detect the scretch in audio, ROIP can work like a radio device. Because SAD is seamless during locking.

Each device has different SAD value. So ROIP need to set right SAD value.

Below is SAD lock mechanism.

You have to check the current scratch value when radio device’s PTT button is pressed and released. And then you can find the correct SAD Sensitivity.

Prevention of coverage collision

If there are two ProGates on a locked device's coverage, sometimes there would be coverage collision.
ROIP need to prevent this collision.
